THE CUBE GALLERY EXHIBITION

In November of 2013, I exhibited in Western Kentucky University's Cube Gallery, on the fourth floor of the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center.  This reception was without a doubt one of my most cherished experiences of 2013.  Friends, students, and supporters came out of the woodwork to view the paintings, enjoy the music and food, and celebrate with one another.  All together this show was a huge success, and I have so many people to thank for helping it happen.

The paintings had all been completed within two years of one another, from 2011 - 2013.  These years were dynamic for me, moving through many changes and responding to problems quite differently from work to work.  The works ranged drastically in size, some measuring four feet tall, while others came in at only eleven inches.  This led to a wide array of solutions that all came together nicely in this exhibition.
