This book jacket was and exciting and challenging design, that began with an ink drawing of Nelson Mandela on a paper towel. After scanning, printing, drawing and scanning again, this portrait turned into something that couldn't be made without both fine art skills and computer technologies. The result is a merger of the digital and the physical, and I believe communicates the complexity and dynamism of the great man's life; one of great sorrow and great triumph.
